Willaroo is situated in the Macintyre River catchment of New South Wales, approximately 22km southwest of Goondiwindi, Queensland.
Willaroo covers a total area of 14,000 hectares with an average annual rainfall of approximately 600mm. About 65% of this rainfall occurs during the warmer months from October to March.
