Wyobie is located 40km north of the township of Dalby and 130km west of Toowoomba. It is adjacent to the Cooranga Creek, which flows east to west through the northern section of the property.

Wyobie covers a total area of 2,800 hectares. Average annual rainfall is approximately 650 mm and is summer dominant, with two thirds falling during the summer crop growing season (Oct-March).
